Step 7-Xol Call: Okay, it's not much of a pun. This quest should be easier to complete in these early days. Gambit is pretty weird right now, with people invading just to let themselves be killed and other people trying the strategy above. This is not a team objective, so you're going to have to do it yourself. As soon as you see the notification, pop it and go: heavy ammo does the trick as well. The easiest way to do this is to charge your super and just hang out on the side of the arena the invader will come from. Theis final step is the hard one: you've got to kill a Gambit invader within 10 seconds of invading, and before they can kill any of your teammates. Make sure to equip a Masterwork item and choose a super that's good for clearing crowds: pick a particularly juicy section of low-level enemies and blast away. The quickest way to do this will be in public events, Blind Well or Menagerie.
Hopefully some other Guardians will have a similar idea, and you can get this done quickly enough. Just load up your favorite hand cannon-Austringer is very in vogue-and head on in. First off, we need hand cannon kills in Crucible- again, this is a team-based objective, so it's going to go a lot quicker than you imagine. Step 6-Strength in numbers: There are some easy steps in this portion of the quest, and there is one less easy step. Regardless, this is also a good time to do some other reset activities and just wait for the bar to fill.
Just do stuff with Rose equipped until the bar fills up, You get extra progress if other fireteam members also have Rose equipped, and hopping into Menagerie should ensure that there are at least a few other Guardians with one around. Step 5-Do things with Rose: This one couldn't be more simple.

One full go at Tier 3 will earn you 7 points. It's pretty busy right now, so you should have no issue finding a full 6 Guardians. If you have business in these other events you might go there, but the quickest way to do this is with Blind Well.
